Eindelijk zit ik dan na een lange drukke week netjes op de bank met mijn boek op schoot me voor te bereiden op de cursus morgen. Mijn boek, gloednieuw, prachtig en duur, ligt op mijn schoot en ik denk na over het hoofdstuk externe werving van de cursus personeelsmanagement.
Dan zie ik iets over mijn buik wandelen.
Het heeft lange poten en een rond lijf. Gatver, een dikke spin die zomaar over mijn buik wandelt alsof het niets in. Mijn adem stokt in mijn keel -ik ben niet echt bang voor spinnen maar als ze je zo verrassen is het een heel ander verhaal- even wens ik mezelf dood zodat ik niet hoef te verzinnen hoe ik mezelf uit deze benarde positie redden zal.
Er zit maar 1 ding op: mijn boek fungeert als springplank voor de spin en deze langpoterige nare rotzak vliegt met gloednieuw boek en al door de kamer heen. Mijn slof vindt daarna het geschrokken lijf van spinnemans en zijn laatste seconde is een feit. De nieuwigheid van mijn boek echter ook.
*instrueert nu alle katten in huis dat ze dagelijks 4 spinnen moeten vangen en anders geen eten meer zullen krijgen*
